Privacy Policy – Reality Translator

Reality Translator ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Device Identifier

The App generates a secure hashed identifier based on your device’s Android ID. This identifier is used to:

Manage free and paid translation credits
Prevent abuse and fraud
Restore purchased credits

The original Android ID is never stored. Only a one-way SHA-256 hash is used.

1.2 Purchase Information

If you make an in-app purchase through Google Play Billing:

Google processes the payment
We receive a purchase token to verify and restore your credits
We do not collect or store your payment details

All payments are handled securely by Google Play.

1.3 Anonymous Authentication

The App may use anonymous authentication via Supabase to:

Securely associate credits with your device
Prevent duplicate credit usage
Enable credit restoration

No personal identity information (name, email, phone number) is required to use the App.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

Your name
Email address
Phone number
Contacts
Photos
Location data
Payment details
Advertising identifiers

The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

3. How We Use Data

We use collected data strictly to:

Manage translation credit balances
Verify and restore purchases
Prevent fraud or abuse
Maintain service stability

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

4. Data Storage

Data is securely stored using Supabase infrastructure. All communication between the App and backend services is encrypted using HTTPS.

5. Data Retention

Device credit records are stored as long as necessary to maintain your translation balance and allow purchase restoration. You may request deletion of your device record by contacting us.

6. Children’s Privacy

Reality Translator is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Request access to stored data
Request deletion of your device record
Request correction of stored data
